From April 10-27, the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey will play host to the 2018 Spring Poker Open. The series will feature over $3.2 million in total guaranteed prize money as well as 19 trophy events spread across 18 days of poker action. The Borgata is expecting huge fields with amateurs and poker pros both taking part.
The series will kick off with the $540 + $60 NLH Deep Stack Kickoff tournament which will begin on April 10, with a total of five starting flights on offer. The event will have a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and unlimited re-entries.
Players who are familiar with the Spring Poker Series will see that the favorite events are back on the schedule including Ladies, Seniors, Almighty Stack, SixMax and more. The schedule also includes newer events that are sure to be enjoyed by players including the 40/40 Monster Stack. This event gives players 40,000 in chips with 40 minute blind levels.
The most anticipated event on the schedule is the Spring Poker Open Championship No Limit Hold’em tournament. This re-entry event has a buy-in of $2,500 + $200 and offers $1 million in guaranteed prize money. Live streaming will take place during this event at the Borgata Poker Room on April 26, allowing fans to stay connected to the action as it happens.
